The Autoprint Checkmate 25 is an advanced automatic offline carton inspection system engineered to guarantee 100% defect-free output for packaging converters. Powered by high-precision imaging technology from Lucid Imaging, it eliminates the risk of faulty packaging reaching end consumers, helping print shops secure premium pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and luxury goods accounts.
Multi-Camera Optical Intelligence
The system features a versatile multi-camera array configured to catch the most minute production defects. It incorporates a 2K resolution Print Inspection Camera providing a tight 0.13 mm matrix clearance, an independent Foil and Embossing Camera, and a specialized Bottom Camera to review the reverse side of the blank for comprehensive, multi-directional error mapping.
Mistake-Proof Carton Tracking & Sorting
Built with a highly secure mechanical tracking and sorting architecture fully integrated with the machine's software. The fail-proof carton tracking loop ensures that any sheet flagged with anomalies is diverted straight into a dedicated reject bin, making it impossible for a defective or mixed-up carton to accidentally land in the accepted pile.
Advanced Print & Coating Defect Detection
The Checkmate 25 checks for an expansive spectrum of printing and finishing imperfections. It identifies gross color variations, text errors, stains, dead insects, scum, and registration offsets, alongside specialized surface embellishment failures like broken hot foil stamp lines, missing window film glue, scratches on matte lamination, and skipped drip-off or spot UV coatings.
Smart Image Learning & Auto-Alignment
Driven by a high-capacity computer processor running proprietary inspection software. The system features multiple tolerance levels for establishing the master image and can automatically realign live images with key register points to compensate for minor sheet tilt. For maximum agility, operators can even train the software to learn new images and acceptable variations on the run.
Comprehensive Statistical Reporting
To drive continuous quality improvements in the pressroom, the software generates automated, process-wise online defect statistical reports. These logs can be sorted dynamically by customer, date, job configuration, or month, allowing production managers to isolate recurrent die-cutting, embossing, or color issues and execute precise corrective actions.
