Autoprint Fine Coat 80 Drip Off is a sophisticated offline coating system designed to deliver high-end aesthetic finishes. By combining an offset priming unit with a dedicated coating station, it enables the popular "Drip-Off" effect, allowing for striking contrasts between matte and gloss finishes in a single pass.
Precision Offset Priming Unit
The machine features a comprehensive 16-roller offset priming system, including 3 form rollers and 4 oscillators. This unit is specifically engineered to apply primer or matte varnish with pinpoint accuracy, featuring a dampening system that ensures consistent coverage across the entire substrate.
High-Performance UV & IR Curing
Equipped with a versatile drying system to handle multiple coating types. The UV Drying Unit features a 300 Watts-per-inch lamp with a power-saving "Hypermotion" device, while the IR Dryer utilizes dual lamps and a hot air blow system to efficiently cure aqueous-based coatings.
Versatile Spot & Full Coating
This system supports both full-surface and highly detailed spot coating. Utilizing polymer plates and a specialized blanket cylinder, it allows for creative embellishments. The plate cylinders feature both circumferential and lateral movement for micro-adjustments to the registration settings.
Intelligent Media Detection & Safety
The Fine Coat 80 includes an electro-mechanical "No Sheet Detector" that automatically disengages the impression cylinder if a paper feed failure occurs. For safety, the UV hood is equipped with an automatic safety lifting device to prevent heat buildup or fire hazards during paper jams.
Streamlined Workflow & Maintenance
Designed for operational efficiency, the machine includes a declutching mechanism for the offset priming unit when it is not required, extending the life of the rubber rollers. The high-pile delivery system and automated chain delivery ensure smooth handling of coated sheets at speeds up to 6000 sph.
